A pet door wall liner is a sleeve or tunnel that lines the opening created in your wall—typically between the interior and exterior surfaces—when installing a pet door through a brick or double brick wall.
But why does a wall liner for a pet door matter?

Without a wall liner, the cut-out hole would expose brick, mortar, insulation, or wall cavity, which looks messy and can be unsafe.
